Total Defence Day

Total Defence Day was to remind students that Singapore is defensible and is worth defending. Our school celebrated it by giving us only 1 piece of bread and a bottle of water. We could not have our second serving because during the World War 2, the peoples were starving because of the shortage of food. We need to remember that they had a difficult period.

We had pratice the fire drill, when the emergency bell had rung. The whole school was rushing down to the field instucted by the relief teacher. We were sitting under the hot sun and waiting for instruction. It was super hot and we were almost burnt. I hate this part of the event as it almost made me faint.

After that, we also have to fill in a survey from that was about how the event was going ture and how it can improve in the future.

The Total Defence day was a very meaningful day and we must bear in mind that defense ourself is very important.
